Kool Beanz Casuarina is seeking a Supportive Care Educator for Senior Kindy to join our family-owned centre. You will provide targeted inclusion support to children needing additional help, while collaborating with the broader room team to deliver play-based learning.

You bring a Certificate III/ Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, current Blue Card, and a passion for inclusion. Join us to help children thrive in a nurturing, supportive environment.

Competenze

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent/approved qualification.
• Current Blue Card/Working with Children Check.
• Experience working as an early childhood educator supporting children with additional needs.
• Experience supporting children with autism or behavioural challenges would be highly regarded.
• Ability to implement inclusive, educational and play-based programs.
• Experience supporting children's self-care, toileting, feeding, communication and social development would be advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively with families, educators, allied health professionals and other stakeholders.
• Strong communication, documentation and organisational skills.
• A genuine commitment to creating an inclusive environment where every child can participate and belong.

Mansioni

• Provide dedicated Inclusion Support for 5 hours per day.
• Work 2.5 hours per day in the Senior Kindy room alongside the normal educator-to-child ratio.
• Support lunch covers and breaks across the 5-day week to assist the wider team.
• Collaborate with families, therapists and professionals to support each child’s development and wellbeing.

The Opportunity

This role offers a unique balance of dedicated inclusion support and working within the broader room team.

• 5 hours per day providing dedicated Inclusion Support to children requiring additional support.
• 2.5 hours per day working within the normal educator-to-child ratio in the Senior Kindy room.
• Opportunity to work 5 days per week, with the fifth day working within the normal ratio to support lunch covers, breaks and the wider team.
• Work collaboratively with educators, families, therapists and other professionals to support children's individual development and wellbeing.

Skills And Experience

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent/approved qualification.
• Current Blue Card/Working with Children Check.
• Experience working as an early childhood educator supporting children with additional needs.
• Experience supporting children with autism or behavioural challenges would be highly regarded.
• Ability to implement inclusive, educational and play-based programs.
• Experience supporting children's self-care, toileting, feeding, communication and social development would be advantageous.
