Kool Beanz in Casuarina, NSW is seeking a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to guide your team and deliver high-quality early learning programs for children aged six weeks to six years.

You will implement EYLF, build strong connections with families and the local community, and help the centre meet the National Quality Standards while fostering a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA‑approved equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWC) and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Due to recent growth of both these services, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Diploma Qualified, highly motivated Lead Educator who is ready to work Monday to Friday.

This role is a position where using your previous experience as a Lead Educator, you will help to manage and support the team. For us, it's about finding a like-minded individual who is passionate about early childhood education and the developmental needs of children.

About The Role

• Help to support your team, to implement programs, follow the EYLF and share the excitement of child-led discovery.
• Creating long-lasting connections and partnerships with your local community, schools, and families.
• Support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards.

About You

• Experience: previous experience as a Lead Educator in an early childhood setting.
• Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care OR equivalent approved by ACECQA.
• Compliance: Current Working with Children Check (WWC) and First Aid certification. Knowledge: Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for Education: Genuine love for children and a commitment to making a positive impact.
• Documentation & Planning: Strong skills in documenting and planning for individual learning needs and general administration.
• Work Authorisation: Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

Working Hours

Ideally, we are looking for team member who are available to work within the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm Monday - Friday.
