Job description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and engaging Support Worker to support a lovely 60-year-old lady who lives with intellectual disability in the Payneham South area.

• Fortnightly Thursdays from 5:15PM to 8:45PM

Fortnightly Thursday Shifts + Emergency Cover Opportunities

About the person

She is a kind, polite, and friendly lady who enjoys:

• Listening to 80s music
• Arts and crafts
• Light exercise and attending the gym
• Community activities and social interaction

She values consistency, patience, and positive relationships with her support team.

Her support worker preferences

She would prefer a support worker who:

• Is female
• Speaks clear and easy-to-understand English
• Is patient, friendly, and respectful
• Enjoys creative and community-based activities
• Can build a positive and trusting relationship

As the participant can sometimes find strong accents difficult to understand, clear verbal communication is important.

Frequency: Fortnightly Thursdays

Time: 5:15PM to 8:45PM

Additional shifts may be available for emergency, relief, and leave coverage.
