Job summary

Accept Care is building a team of qualified care workers to support clients throughout the week. You’ll help clients live independently and safely in their own home and community, providing personal care, daily living support and meaningful social interactions guided by care plans.

Shift details include Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm in Adelaide’s Western Suburbs. We welcome applicants with Cert 3 in Individual Support or equivalent, NDIS Screening, WWCC, manual handling, infection control, a valid driver

Qualifications

• Certifications listed are required to work in community/home care.
• Valid checks and licenses are mandatory for client safety.
• Manual handling and infection control training is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks, personal care and daily living needs.
• Provide social support and build respectful client relationships.
• Communicate changes or concerns to coordinators.
• Support clients to live independently in home and community.

About The Role

We are building a team of qualified care workers to support our clients through the week. You’ll support them to live independently and safely in their own home and community. This hands-on role involves helping with daily tasks, personal care, and building meaningful connections - guided by care plans and supported by a dedicated office team.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing), social support & help around the home for daily living needs.
• Some domestic support including mopping, vacuuming and general cleaning.
• Communicate changes or concerns to coordinators.
• Build respectful, professional relationships with clients.

Work Locations - Adelaide’s Western Suburbs, including Henley Beach, Grange, Seaton, Findon, Fulham, West Lakes, Woodville, Torrensville, Plympton and surrounding suburbs

Shift details - Mon-Fri (8am - 4pm)

About You

You are caring, passionate about supporting others and experienced in community support work. You have great communication skills and treat all clients with care and professionalism.

You’ll also bring:
