Job summary

Aruma is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a 24/7 roster to empower participants living in their own homes. You will provide compassionate personal care and support, helping people maintain independence and dignity with a warm, inclusive approach.

Join a values-driven team offering training on commencing roles, and opportunities for professional development, wellness resources, and recognition programs. Priorities include safety, accurate records, and respectful communication.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Working with Children Check is required (or willingness to obtain).
• Driver’s license and insured vehicle are essential for community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Empower participants to develop skills and achieve personal goals.
• Provide personal care with dignity (hygiene, meals, mobility) respecting preferences.
• Build connections through hobbies, social activities, and community events.
