Job summary

All About Living in Maroochydore, QLD, is seeking a Home Care Worker to deliver vital support services to older Australians and people living with disabilities in their homes.

You will provide personal care, social support, meal preparation, transport and domestic assistance, with paid induction, benefits through Vertaview Group, salary packaging, and opportunities for growth within the group.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening and Police Check must be current.
• First Aid & CPR certification and a valid driver's licence are required.
• Experience with older people or people with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care and Domestic Assistance to clients in the community.
• Assist with Shopping, Meal Preparation, and Transport to appointments as needed.
• Support client independence, dignity and choice in daily activities.
• Work collaboratively with the wider care team to plan and monitor care delivery.

This may include Personal Care, Individual or Group Social Support, Shopping Assistance, Respite, Transport to and from appointment, Domestic Assistance, and Meal Preparation.

About You

• Have experience working with people with disabilities or the elderly
• Can work independently and within teams
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to resolve minor task-related problems
