Job summary

All About Living, a Vertaview Group charity, is seeking a Home Care worker to deliver essential services to older Australians and people living with disability in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.

You will provide Personal Care, Social Support, Shopping Assistance, Transport, Domestic Help and Meal Preparation, with paid induction, benefits, salary packaging, and opportunities for growth within a supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities or the elderly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Respect the rights and dignity of participants.
• Ability to resolve minor task-related problems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Personal Care, Social Support, Shopping Assistance, Respite, Transport to appointments, Domestic Assistance and Meal Preparation as needed.
• Provide transport to and from appointments and assist with activities of daily living.
• Contribute to a respectful, supportive environment for clients and families.
