Job summary

Mounties Care is seeking compassionate Home Care Support Workers to provide overnight sleepover support for a client in Mona Vale, NSW. You will work overnight shifts, assisting with evening and morning routines, personal care, and companionship in a home setting.

The role requires reliability and patience, with duties including bedtime routines, grooming, medication assistance, and hygiene support. NDIA screening, first aid, and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support
• Medication assistance competency/training or willingness to obtain with us
• Previous experience in home care, disability, or aged care support

Responsibilities

• Assist with bedtime routine and personal care, and assist with medications
• Morning shower assistance
• Feeding simple meals following the meal time management plan
• Support with pad changes and hygiene care
• Provide companionship to ensure the client feels comfortable and supported

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Care Support Worker to provide overnight support (inactive sleepover shifts) for a client based in Mona Vale.

This role suits someone who is reliable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred carein a home environment.

As a Support Worker, you will be supporting a client in their home during overnight shifts, assisting with evening and morning routines, personal care, and providing companionship to ensure the client feels comfortable and supported.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with bedtime routine and personal care and assisting with medications
• Morning shower assistance
• Feeding simple meals (as per their meal time management plan)
• Supporting with pad changes and hygiene care

SHIFT DETAILS

• Overnight inactive sleepover shifts. 5:30 pm - 8 am (or similar)
• 1 or 2 weeknights per week (Potential for more to cover leave)
• Located in Mona Vale, NSW
• Above-award pay rates for sleepover shifts
• Opportunities for additional work with other clients in the area.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will ideally possess the following:
