Job summary

Mounties Care in the Central Coast NSW region is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist clients at home across Sydney areas, with casual, part-time, overnight and live-in opportunities.

As a Support Worker, you will accompany clients on daily activities, assist with personal care, meal preparation and light housework, while providing social interaction and safe transport to appointments. A vehicle is preferred, to support client outings.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support.
• Cert III in Individual Support (or similar) desirable.
• NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses).

Responsibilities

• Accompanying clients during daily activities, errands and outings.
• Food preparation and shopping.
• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
• Light household tasks (cleaning, washing, folding).
• Providing social interaction and companionship.
• Transport to appointments.
• Live-in care services available for the right candidate.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for passionateSupport Workers to join our Mounties Care Team supporting our areas in the Central Coast NSW. There are multiple opportunities available - Casual, Part-time, Overnight and Live-In Care!

As a Support Worker, some of your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
• Food preparation and shopping
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
• Providing social interaction and companionship
• Transport to appointments
• Live in Care services (for the right candidate)

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support
• Cert III in Individual Support or similar – desirable
• Disability or dementia experience – desirable
• NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
• COVID-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses)
• Own vehicle with insurance
