Job summary

Mounties Care in NSW is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our in-home care team across the Central Coast. Multiple opportunities available including casual, part-time, overnight and live-in care; you will accompany clients on daily activities, assist with personal care, meals, light housework and transport to appointments.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support, a Cert III in Individual Support (desirable), and checks such as NDIS or police

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support.
• Cert III in Individual Support (desirable).
• Disability or dementia experience desirable.
• NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses).
• Own vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Accompany clients during daily activities, errands and outings.
• Food preparation and shopping.
• Assist in personal care and hygiene (showering, dressing).
• Perform household tasks (cleaning, washing, folding).
• Provide social interaction and companionship.
• Transport to appointments.
• Live-in care services (for right candidate).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for passionateSupport Workers to join our Mounties Care Team supporting our areas in the Central Coast NSW. There are multiple opportunities available - Casual, Part-time, Overnight and Live-In Care!

As a Support Worker, some of your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
• Food preparation and shopping
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
• Providing social interaction and companionship
• Transport to appointments
• Live in Care services (for the right candidate)

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support
• Cert III in Individual Support or similar – desirable
• Disability or dementia experience – desirable
• NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
