Job summary

Mounties Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our Mounties Care Team across Sydney, including the Hills District. Multiple opportunities available — Casual, Part-time, Overnight and Live-In Care!

As a Support Worker, duties include accompanying clients on outings, meal prep, personal care, household tasks, companionship and transport to appointments. Live-in care is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support
• Cert III in Individual Support or similar – desirable
• Disability or dementia experience – desirable
• NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
• COVID-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses)
• Own vehicle with insurance

Responsibilities

• Accompanying clients during daily activities, running errands and outings
• Food preparation and shopping
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
• Providing social interaction and companionship
• Transport to appointments
• Live in Care services (for the right candidate)

ABOUT THE ROLE
