Job summary

Mounties Care provides in-home care across Sydney and surrounding areas. We are seeking compassionate Support Workers for casual, part-time, overnight and live-in opportunities to join our Mounties Care Team in the Hills District and greater Sydney.

As a Support Worker, you will accompany clients on daily activities, assist with personal care, prepare meals, perform light housework and provide companionship. Valid checks, first aid and a car with insurance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support.
• Disability or dementia experience – desirable.
• NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willing to obtain).
• First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain).
• COVID-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses).
• Own vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Accompany clients during daily activities, errands and outings.
• Food preparation and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (showering, dressing).
• Household tasks (cleaning, washing, folding clothes).
• Provide social interaction and companionship.
• Transport to appointments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for passionateSupport Workers to join our Mounties Care Team supporting our areas in the Hills District. There are multiple opportunities available - Casual, Part-time, Overnight and Live-In Care!

As a Support Worker, some of your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
• Food preparation and shopping
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothesProviding social interaction and companionship
• Transport to appointments
• Live in Care services (for the right candidate)

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support
• Cert III in Individual Support or similar – desirable
• Disability or dementia experience – desirable
