Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Home Care Worker in Moruya/Narooma to help elderly clients live independently at home. The role is permanent part-time, Monday to Friday, with duties including home support, transport assistance, and personal care in clients’ own homes in and around Moruya/Narooma.

The package includes a pay rate of $36.23 - $37.68 per hour plus 99c per km and travel time, with additional benefits such as a $500 bonus at 6 and 12 months and salary packaging options.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
• Personal Care: Support with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.
