Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker to deliver practical in-home support for elderly clients in and around Orange. This permanent part-time role runs Monday to Friday, offering flexible hours and the chance to empower independence in clients' own homes.

You will assist with housekeeping, shopping, meals, personal care, and accompany clients to appointments. Applicants with Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent, a valid Australian driving license, and a commitment to Uniting's

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.

• Help at home: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
• Personal Care: Support with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.

$32.61 - $37.68 per hour + 99c per km and travel time
