Job summary

Kanda is seeking a Disability Support Worker in Queensland to build genuine relationships with people we support. Enjoy a consistent roster with permanent part-time or casual options for flexibility and security.

You will be guided from day one with paid induction and shadow shifts to support career development. You'll perform personal care, community access, and health routines while documenting notes and adhering to each participant's support plan.

Qualifications

• Current Australian driver's licence (minimum P2).
• Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Rights to work in Australia
• Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster, including two sleepover shifts per fortnight. Common roster: 8am-4pm, 4pm-8am (sleepover 10pm-6am).

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll build genuine relationships with the people you support, with a consistent roster that works for you. About you

• No experience required, we'll teach you what you need to know
• A caring, patient and reliable approach, with great communication skills
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or caring for family is great, but not essential
