Job summary

Lutheran Services in Rosewood, QLD is seeking a compassionate Home Care Support Worker to deliver in-home, person-centred support for aged care clients, helping them live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes. You will perform personal care, daily living tasks, accompany clients to appointments, and document care accurately.

Requirements include Certificate III in Aged Care or Equivalent, driver’s licence, NDIS screening and a National Police Check; 20 hours fortnight, Mon

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
• Experience working in home care or aged care.
• A caring, respectful, and client-focused approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care tailored to each client’s goals and preferences.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming).
• Support with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and shopping.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social connection.
• Work closely with Care Partners and families to deliver consistent care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Location: Rosewood, QLD
Job Type: Multiple Casual Positions | 20 hrs fortnight | Availability required Mon & Fri (7 am–6 pm) | Availability across the week preferred.
Remuneration: $41.57 – $46.02 per hour (incl. 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Benefits

About the Role:
