Job summary

Lutheran Services Graceville Centre in Nambour, QLD is seeking a Support Worker to assist people living with mental illness or disability. Casual positions available with weekend and sleepover shift options.

Remuneration ranges from $46.18 to $50.38 per hour, plus super, salary packaging and staff discounts. Role involves flexible, person-centred support, personal care, community participation, documentation, and collaboration with case managers.

Qualifications

• Transferrable skills or study in a related field (students encouraged).
• Passion for empowering individuals with mental illness and/or disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Valid Queensland Driver's Licence with a comprehensively insured vehicle to transport clients (if required).
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card.

About The Role:

Located in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, our Graceville Centre provides support to individuals living with a mental illness and/or disability. All Graceville services are conducted by working with individuals in a strength based and recovery focused framework. Graceville Centre operates seven programs that provide support to clients either on site or in their own homes. We are a growing service and regularly have internal opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Provide flexible, support tailored to client needs and preferences.
