Job summary

Harbour At Home is seeking a qualified and experienced Support Worker to assist aged care clients in Grafton and surrounding areas. Shifts include morning and evening hours across the week to help clients live independently within their local community.

You will support clients with personal care, social activities, and transportation to appointments, working autonomously and as part of a team in a local family-run service that values staff development and ongoing CPR/competency training.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 Individual Support (or similar aged care qualification).
• Current drivers license and insured vehicle.
• National criminal history/police check (issued in the last 3 months).
• First Aid & CPR certificate.
• Aged care experience.

About The Role

We're looking for a qualified & experienced Support Worker to provide compassionate care to our aged care clients in Grafton, Laurence, Maclean, Townsend; the shifts will be through the week. (morning & evening).

You Will Support Our Clients In a Range Of Services To Ensure They Can Continue To Live The Life They Choose In Their Local Community, Including

• Assist clients with personal care support
• Provide social support and community engagement
• Transport clients to shopping and medical appointments
• Work autonomously and within a team to meet client needs

About You

You have a caring nature and are a clear and empathetic communicator who is able to build rapport effectively. You can work both autonomously and in a team environment, are extremely organized and adaptable to change. You are looking for stable, flexible and fulfilling work.
