Job summary

Westhaven is seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide personalised care across Adult and Children’s Services in NSW. You’ll support clients with daily living, mobility, and social involvement, adapting to each individual's needs.

Ideal applicants hold a current NSW Driver’s Licence, WWCC, NDIS Worker Check, RCWR, and First Aid/CPR. Availability across a 24/7 roster, including mornings, evenings and sleepovers, is essential to join our team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care or support role.
• A current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive.
• A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• An NDIS Workers Check (NDISWC).
• Willingness to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
• A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Personalised care for clients of all ages, including daily living support.
• Plan and attend appointments, school activities, and social outings to foster inclusion.
• Mentorship and supportive environment for children while empowering adults to maintain independence.
• Complete daily case notes, incident reports, and essential administrative tasks.
