Claro Disability Services is seeking caring professionals to support people with complex needs in living independently and with confidence. You will work with clients, families and medical teams to tailor supports to individual goals and routines.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, medical plan support, and promoting autonomy. A values-led, collaborative team environment awaits, with paid induction and ongoing clinical support.

What you’ll do

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being

Who we’re looking for

• Interest or experience in complex care, disability, and health nuances.
• Great communicator: listens well, reads cues, and adapts to different styles.
• Reliable and professional, with good notetaking and teamwork.

• Optional but nice: Manual handling, epilepsy management, or disability-support training.
