Job summary

Calvary is seeking a casual Cleaner to join The Mariner – South West Rocks, near the coastline, to support the care team in delivering high-quality services. The role focuses on routine and project cleaning to maintain safe, clean resident areas and common spaces.

Based at The Mariner – South West Rocks, you will handle mopping, vacuuming and cleaning tasks with attention to detail. Flexible hours and a welcoming team environment are offered, with required pre-employment checks and immunisation

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, window cleaning and high cleaning.
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to join a care-focused team.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules.
• Completion of cleaning tasks in line with infection control and OH&S requirements including safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Recording of completion of cleaning schedule tasks.

Support Worker - Cleaner

About The Role

The position of Cleaner is an essential part of our integrated team united by our common goal to deliver excellent care, every day!

Key Responsibilities

• Routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules. Cleaning tasks include mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, restocking of supplies, collection of soiled linen and clothing as required
• Completion of cleaning tasks according to infection control and occupational health and safety requirements including the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals
• Recording of the completion of cleaning schedule tasks
