Calvary’s The Mariner in South West Rocks is seeking a Cleaner to join our domestic services team, delivering essential cleaning to support resident care. You will perform routine cleaning duties, maintain high standards of hygiene, and work with a compassionate team dedicated to resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, window and high cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks per established schedules (mop, vacuum, dust, wipe surfaces, window cleaning).
• Follow infection control and safety rules when handling chemicals.
• Record completion of cleaning tasks on the schedule.

About the role

The position of Cleaner is an essential part of our integrated team united by our common goal to deliver excellent care, every day!

As part of our domestic services team you will have a crucial role in providing domestic services for our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules.
  Cleaning tasks include mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, restocking of supplies, collection of soiled linen and clothing as required
• Completion of cleaning tasks according to infection control and occupational health and safety requirements including the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals
• Recording of the completion of cleaning schedule tasks
