Calvary Health Care in Bendigo, VIC, is seeking a casual/fixed-term part-time Support Worker - Catering to assist in delivering high-quality meals for residents. You will work with the Chef and team to ensure dietary needs and cultural considerations are met.

Casual and fixed-term part-time roles are available, with flexible hours designed to fit personal schedules while maintaining care standards across a large healthcare network.

Formación

• Current Food Handlers Certificate
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High standards in food preparation
• Knowledge of food safety regulations

Responsabilidades

• Support service delivery under the direction of the Chef/Cook
• Prepare daily meals and beverages meeting residents' dietary needs
• Ensure environment is clean and safe and adheres to standards
• Complete food safety records and prevent cross-contamination
• Serve nutritious meals in well-presented form at correct temperatures
• Prepare trays and trolleys for each meal service as per guidelines

About The Role

As a Support worker - Catering you will make a difference each and every day in providing healthy, hearty and delicious meals prepared by our Chef. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will support the Chef/ Chef Manager and your team to deliver a high quality catering service to our residents.

Both Casual and fixed term part time roles available.

Your main duties will include:

• Support service delivery under the direction of the Chef/Cook
• Prepare daily meals and beverages that meet individual needs of each resident including special dietary requirements, allergies and culturally specific as instructed by the Chef or Cook.
• Ensure environmental service standards are met and maintained, and the residents living environment is safe and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Ensuring that all duties are worked in accordance with the National Food Safety Program at all times including completing food safety records and the prevention of cross contamination.
• Serve nutritious meals in well-presented manner and at the appropriate temperature
• Prepare trays and trolleys for each meal services as per the Calvary National Dining and Nutrition Guide.
