Job summary

Calvary Care is seeking a Catering support worker to make a difference daily by delivering healthy, hearty meals prepared by our Chef. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will support the Chef/Chef Manager and the team to provide a high-quality catering service for residents.

We have Casual opportunities with shifts across a fortnightly roster. The role requires ensuring compliance, completing safety forms, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment daily.

Qualifications

• Follow Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (Health Care Competencies).
• Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role in residential care, health care or hospitality sectors (Desirable).
• Current National police check with no disclosable outcomes.
• Current valid Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the catering service adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Complete all food safety record forms as per legislation.
• Work in accordance with the Food Safety Program at all times.
• Ensure uniforms and protective clothing and footwear are worn in the workplace.

About the role

As a Catering support worker, you will make a difference each and every day in providing healthy, hearty and delicious meals prepared by our Chef. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will support the Chef/ Chef Manager and your team to deliver a high quality catering service to our residents.
