Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance/Criminal Record Check.
• First Aid/CPR certification current.
• Current Australian Driver's License and reliable insured vehicle.
• Smartphone with internet access for rostering and notes.
• Working with Children Check preferred.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance.
• Social support/transportation for social activities and appointments.
• Domestic tasks: light cleaning, laundry and meal prep.
• Assistance with using aids and equipment, adapting to complex needs.
• Monitor wellbeing and report progress to the client team.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
• Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
• Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
• Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
• Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you:

• Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
• Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

What you will need:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
• Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
• Current First Aid certificate/CPR
• Current Australian Drivers License
• Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (or equivalent)
