Job summary

Across Australia Just Better Care in Queensland is seeking dedicated Community Support Workers to provide high-quality in-home care and disability support. You will assist with personal care, social activities, domestic tasks and transportation, using a mobile app to log notes.

Applicants should have Certificate III/IV Individual Support, current First Aid, CPR, a valid Australian driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, plus NDIS screening.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or criminal check.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Current First Aid certificate/CPR.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle.
• Smartphone with internet access for rostering and notes.

Responsibilities

• Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance.
• Social support and transport for activities, shopping, and medical appointments.
• Domestic help with light cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Assist customers with aids and personal equipment.
• Support customers with complex or challenging needs.
• Monitor customer well-being and report progress.
• Provide updates on progress after each service.
