Claro Disability Services in Nunawading is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide person-centered care across mobility, daily tasks, and medical supports. Responsibilities

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being

• Saturday 07:00-10:00
• Sunday 18:00-22:30

What you’ll do (*tailored to each client as required*)

• Optional but nice: Manual handling, epilepsy management, or disability-support training.
