Claro Disability Services in Heidelberg VIC is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide accommodation support across the North West. You will assist clients with complex needs, helping with mobility, daily tasks, and community participation, while upholding dignity and choice.

You’ll work closely with families and care teams to tailor supports to each client’s goals, routines, and culture. The role offers flexible shifts to fit your life while delivering meaningful, safe care.

We currently have Permanent Part-time and casual vacancies across, Heidelberg Heights, Bellfield, Bundoora and Macleod.

What you’ll do (*tailored to each client as required*)

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being
