Job summary

Just Better Care Gippsland provides in-home care support across the Gippsland region. We offer one-on-one services in participants' homes, covering both aged care and disability needs, with shifts starting at 2 hours and extending based on client requirements.

Weekend and overnight sleepover shifts may be available by agreement. Our team focuses on maintaining independence, dignity and quality of life, with comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training and support from local teams, including

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Current Australian driver’s licence with reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Comfort with using workplace technology (e.g. AlayaCare).
• Understanding WHS requirements for hazard and incident logging.

Job description

In-Home Care Support Worker JBC Gippsland - Latrobe Valley / Wellington Shire

You'll provide one-on-one support to participants in their homes, helping them achieve their goals while maintaining their independence, dignity and quality of life. Our current opportunities support both Aged Care and Disability participants. All shifts are a minimum of 2 hours, with longer shifts available depending on participant needs. Occasional weekend and overnight (sleepover) shifts are also available as required and on availability.

About you

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Current First Aid & CPR certificates

Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

Availability Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm (with occasional weekend or overnight work by agreement)

Proof of working rights in Australia

Confident using workplace technology (e.g. AlayaCare, intranet)

A good understanding of WHS requirements for hazard and incident logging and management

Smartphone with internet access and a current operating system

Physical capability to assist with manual handling, domestic assistance and personal care tasks
