Job summary

Pathway Talent is seeking Mental Health and Disability Support Workers in NSW for casual and contract roles across community and supported living settings. You will provide NDIS and ICare support, empowering clients to live independently, confidently, and with dignity.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, promote safety and well‑being, and help clients access their communities. Pathway Talent offers salary packaging and flexible work arrangements to suit your terms.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Mental Health.
• University students welcome (Allied Health, Nursing, OT or related fields).
• Experience supporting clients with complex mental health needs.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Working with Children Check.
• National Police Check (within 3 months).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module.
• Ability to lift up to 10 kg unassisted.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Empathy and commitment to dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Empower people from diverse backgrounds to achieve their goals and build independence.
• Assist with daily living activities across community and supported living settings.
• Support with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, household tasks, community access and transport.
• Promote dignity, respect and individual choice at all times.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will empower people from diverse backgrounds to achieve their goals, build independence, and stay connected with their communities.

For these particular roles we are looking for staff to work across the community and supported living environments to provide NDIS and/or ICare support to individuals.

You will assist with a range of daily living activities, including (but not limited to) personal care, manual handling, meal preparation, medication administration, household tasks, community access, and transport. At all times, you will promote dignity, respect, and individual choice.

What you’ll need
