Job summary

You Me and the Community is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist clients in their homes and communities. You will help with daily living, build life skills, and promote independence while forming meaningful connections.

This role is based in Stafford with flexible hours and a supportive, inclusive culture. Training and development opportunities are offered to grow with the organization.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in relevant field.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home support to clients in their homes and communities.
• Help with daily living tasks and life skills to promote independence.
• Foster meaningful connections and social participation for clients.

About the Role

We’re currently seeking passionate, reliable, and empathetic Support Workers to join our team. You’ll be working one-on-one with clients in their homes and communities—assisting with daily living, building life skills, encouraging independence, and creating meaningful connections.

You are someone who is:

Committed to upholding the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct

Experienced in disability, aged care, or community support (highly regarded, but not essential)

What You’ll Need

Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health, Aged Care, or equivalent (or working towards)

Current First Aid and CPR certificate

Valid driver’s licence

Your own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete)

Smartphone with reliable internet connection
