Job summary

Pathway Talent is hiring Disability Support Workers and Mental Health Support Workers in NSW. We offer permanent part-time and casual opportunities with salary packaging to reduce taxable income and boost take-home pay.

You will deliver person-centred support, assist with daily living tasks, and follow care plans while maintaining safety and dignity for clients in the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, AIN or equivalent.
• University students in Allied Health, Nursing, OT may apply.
• Experience in supporting clients with complex needs and behaviours.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Working with Children Check.
• National Police Check (within 3 months).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module.
• Ability to lift up to 10kg.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Empathy and commitment to respect and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support tailored to individual participant needs and goals.
• Assist participants with personal care, dressing and daily living tasks, fostering independence and confidence.
• Provide medication support, including prompting and administration where required.
• Utilise safe manual handling practices in line with best-practice standards.
• Complete accurate documentation, follow support and risk management plans, and liaise with participants, families and key stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and organisational policies.

What you’ll need

• University students welcome to apply (Allied Health, Nursing, OT, and related fields)
• Experience in supporting clients with complex needs and behaviours
