Job summary

People 2U in Docklands, VIC is seeking experienced Support Workers for on-call, casual roles. Shifts are typically 2–3 hours, up to 8 hours, three days per week, with an immediate start.

You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship and emotional support, help with cooking, cleaning and laundry, and accompany them to community activities and medical appointments. You must meet the NDIS Worker Orientation, hold First Aid/CPR, and have a valid work right in Australia.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module – complete "Quality, Safety and You" and upload the certificate.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates must be uploaded.
• Driver licence if applicable and valid.
• Competency assessments must be completed in People2U system and countersigned by Home Caring Vermont nurses.

Pay Rate: $36.81 per hour

Shift: 3 days per week (2-3 hour shift but can go up to 8 hours)

Employment Type: On-Call / Ongoing Casual

Requirement and What you need to do:

Qualifications and certificates - Upload qualifications, current First Aid and CPR, and any other certificates required for your role.

Driving (if applicable) - Current driver licence, registratiand comprehensive insurance if you drive for work or transport participants.

Competency assessments - People2U - Complete your competency assessments. Each one must be signed off by you and HR management on People, then reviewed and countersigned by the Home Caring Vermont nurses (see Section 3).
