Job summary

Northcott is seeking casual Support Workers in Maroochydore to provide person-centred support across on-site, home, and community settings in the Sunshine Coast region. The role focuses on building independence, confidence, and social connections for participants with disability.

Ideal candidates have experience in disability support, including mental health and autism-related needs, and are comfortable with flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Flexible and reliable, with availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Experience in the disability sector; lived experience is highly valued.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs and implementing Behaviour Support Plans.
• Demonstrated experience supporting customers with autism and/or complex behaviours.
• Confident and experienced in manual handling practices.
• Skilled in supporting people with diverse physical, cognitive and behavioural needs, always delivering person-centred, respectful care.

Skills & Experience:

• Passionate about continuous learning, building connections and supporting independence.
