Job summary

Wellways is a national provider delivering mental health and disability services across multiple sites. This role supports individuals under NDIS plans with daily living, transport, and life skills, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will travel across Metro Melbourne to deliver services; a valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel are essential. Multiple casual opportunities with travel to Darebin, Boroondara and Whitehorse regions are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (desirable).
• Right to Work within Australia.
• Current valid driving licence and willingness to travel for work.
• Current Motor Vehicle Insurance.
• Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to undertake.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
• Physically capable to deliver personal care to participants.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to achieve personal goals by delivering a wide range of services under their NDIS plans, as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
• Assist with daily living, transport, community and social participation and building everyday life skills.
• Travel across Metro Melbourne to deliver support services; valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel are essential.

About The Opportunity

In this meaningful and varied role, you will support individuals to achieve their personal goals by delivering a wide range of services under their NDIS plans, as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team. These services include assistance with daily living, transport, community and social participation and building everyday life skills. Your days may involve outdoor activities, personal care, or helping someone access education, work, or health services.

The role involves travelling across Metro Melbourne to deliver support services, so a valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel are essential. We’re particularly looking for team members who can travel to one or more of the Darebin, Boroondara and Whitehorse regions. Flexibility in availability will also be highly regarded.
