MAIT Industries in Bayswater, VIC, is seeking a reliable, hands-on Support Technician to join our team. You’ll receive hands-on training across irrigation systems, software and electronics, with the opportunity to develop soldering, circuit board repair and system setup skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electronics, Electrotechnology or a similar qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Help customers and agents troubleshoot issues over phone and email.
• Record and manage support calls and updates in our CRM.
• Assist with installing, testing and troubleshooting irrigation equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electronic circuit boards.
• Learn soldering and electronics skills.
• Assist with system setups and technical support.
• Help maintain and update technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to improve support processes.

You’ll receive hands‑on training across our irrigation systems, software and electronics, with the opportunity to develop skills in troubleshooting, soldering, circuit board repair and system setup.

What you'll do

• Help customers and agents troubleshoot issues over the phone and email in a friendly, professional way
• Record and manage support calls and updates in our CRM system
• Assist with installing, testing and troubleshooting irrigation equipment
• Diagnose and repair electronic circuit boards
• Learn and develop your soldering and electronics skills
• Assist with system setups and technical support
• Help maintain and update technical documentation
• Work with the team to solve problems and improve our support processes
