Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our Melbourne team. You will install, program, maintain and repair irrigation systems on high-profile sports and commercial sites, reading plans and aligning work to budget.

This role requires Certificate III Irrigation Technology, hands-on experience, a current driver's licence and the ability to work in a safety-conscious team. You will be based at Essendon Fields on a permanent full-time basis, Monday to Friday, with a

• Certificate III Irrigation Technology required.
• Experience installing, servicing and repairing irrigation systems.
• Current driver's license required.
• Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
• Ability to read and interpret irrigation drawings and plans.
• Proactive mindset and commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, maintain, and repair irrigation systems

• Price and Quote small to medium sized projects
• Conduct regular audits and implement irrigation programs
• Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs
• Maintain accurate records and provide system reports
• Ensure systems are event-ready through pre- and post-irrigation audits
• Work collaboratively within a professional, safety-first team
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with industry best practices, WHS regulations, and company quality systems.

About Role

Green by Nature is seeking a dedicated and qualified Irrigation Technician to join our team. If you thrive on variety, have a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about sustainable outdoor environments – this could be the role for you!

While working on some of Melbourne's high-profile Sports and commercial sites, you will be responsible for pricing and working on Irrigation projects, communicating with both internal and external clients and ensuring jobs are carried out successfully and aligned to budget.
