Job summary

Apollo Care’s Harden Grange in Harden, NSW, is seeking a Casual Support Services Worker to assist with cleaning, laundry, and kitchen tasks while upholding infection control standards across a 45-bed home.

You will report to the Support Services Team Leader and contribute to a resident-first environment with onsite parking and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within an aged care setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks.
• Assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties.
• Distribution of meals to residents and dining room services.
• All aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facility.
• Completing required documentation and reporting.
• Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished.
• Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking and labeling.
