Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland – Caloundra QLD is seeking motivated Support Services Workers to provide in-home cleaning for clients across the Sunshine Coast region. Your role includes assisting with cleaning tasks and adhering to domestic care plans.

You will work independently, communicate clearly with clients and families, and meet the physical demands of working in clients' homes. A Certificate II/III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) is welcome but not required, with training

Anglicare's Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to enable our older population to live their best lives in their own homes.

About the Role

We currently have Support Services Worker positions available to service clients across the Sunshine Coast region. Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes.

About You

We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required

The physical demands of this role will include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.

The following will be required of successful applicants

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
