Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland – Marcoola QLD is seeking part-time Service Support Workers to service clients across the Sunshine Coast region. You will provide cleaning support in clients' homes, helping them maintain independence and comfort.

The role values reliability, clear communication with clients and families, and the ability to work independently with elderly clients. A vehicle and current police certificate are preferred; training and support are provided by Anglicare.

• Experience in cleaning and housekeeping in client homes.

About the Role:

We currently have Part-time Service Support Worker positions available to service clients across the Sunshine Coast region. Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes.

About You:

We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly

The physical demands of this role will include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.

• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required

The following will be required of successful applicants:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
