Job summary

Mylestones in Gladstone is seeking a dedicated Support Officer to help people with disability maintain long-term employment by providing tailored on-the-job support in partnership with clients and employers.

The role focuses on understanding job requirements, identifying support needs, and delivering coaching and training to empower clients in a person-centred team environment.

• Learn and understand job requirements from the employer, while identifying workplace support needs for clients.
• Identifying client support needs in the workplace and provide individualised coaching, guidance and training.
• Monitor and document client performance and progress, while providing regular feedback to both clients and employers.

What would I be doing?

As aSupportOfficer, you will play a crucial role in helpingto providetailoredsupportforpeople with disabilityin their jobtomaintainlong-term employment.

Youwillwork in partnership with our clients and employers to provide on-the-job supporttothatassistsinmaintainingemployment. This couldinclude:
