Job summary

Mylestones in Mackay, Queensland, is seeking an Intake Officer to manage registration, intake and onboarding for people with disability seeking employment opportunities.

You will build relationships with schools and community organisations, conduct intake and assessments, develop tailored job plans and support clients toward meaningful employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage registration, intake and onboarding of people with disability seeking employment opportunities.
• Be the first point of contact to welcome and support people with disability on their journey towards gaining employment and building their career.
• Conduct intake and assessment of clients’ needs to identify suitability for services and eligibility requirements.
• Develop tailored job plans including addressing and identifying barriers to employment to help achieve positive outcomes for clients.
• Build strong relationships and local community networks (such as schools, community organisations etc) to support referrals and engagement for clients.

What would I be doing?

AsanIntakeOfficer, you will play an essentialrole inmanaging and coordinatingthe registration,intakeand onboarding of people with disability seeking employment opportunities.

This could include:

Being the firstpoint of contact to welcomeand support people with disability on their journey towards gaining employment and building their career.Conductingintake and assessment of clients’needs, toidentifysuitability for services and eligibility requirements.

Developtailoredjob plans including addressingandidentifyingbarriers to employment to help achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Buildstrongrelationships andlocal communitynetworks (such as schools, community organisations etc) tosupportreferralsand engagement forclients.
