Job summary

David Jones is seeking a Support Team Leader to help lead the logistics and stock distribution team across our Canberra operations. You will coordinate stock flow to shopfloor, manage outbound fulfillment, and ensure vendor payments are processed on time within SLAs.

You will also oversee contractor access, WHS compliance, and drive sustainability initiatives while coaching the team to deliver seamless, security-conscious store operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stock flow to shopfloor, including tagging and distribution.
• Oversee outbound processes and instore fulfilment to SLA.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors within SLA using inventory systems.
• Manage contractor access and safety/permit processes in-store.
• Support sustainability initiatives with the Ops Manager.
• Promote WHS and a safe environment for all stakeholders.
• Monitor stock accuracy, shrinkage, and cycle counts.
• Ensure cash handling and POS compliance to minimise errors.
• Lead training and maintain records for WHS and injuries.
