Job summary

Talent Quarter Pty Ltd in Brisbane / Gold Coast QLD is seeking an experienced Manager – Support at Home to lead and grow Home Care operations. The role oversees 800+ Support at Home and 3,000 CHSP clients, driving clinical excellence, service improvements and commercial performance across dispersed teams up to North Brisbane.

You will work with the Executive GM to strengthen governance, improve care planning, and leverage data via Power BI to unlock productivity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated management experience in Home Care or Community Aged Care.
• Strong people leadership skills with dispersed teams.
• Sound knowledge of community aged care funding, legislation, quality standards and governance.
• Experience managing operational KPIs, budgets, and service performance.
• Comfort interpreting data and using reporting tools to improve productivity.

Lead Home Care Operations | Drive Service Growth & Clinical Excellence

Talent Quarter is partnering with a leading not-for-profit Aged Care and Community Services provider to recruit an experienced Manager – Support at Home.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded leader with strong operational experience in Home Care or Community Aged Care to drive service excellence, improve clinical care standards and support ongoing business growth.

Overseeing services supporting approximately 800Support at Home clients and 3,000 CHSP clients, you'll lead geographically dispersed teams across the Gold Coast through to North Brisbane, with potential to support future expansion into regional and remote communities.

Working closely with the Executive GM, you'll play a key role in strengthening operational performance, addressing gaps in care planning and clinical service delivery, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity through technology, data and smarter ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams of Care Partners across multiple locations.
• Oversee day-to-day Home Care operations, ensuring safe, compliant and person-centred service delivery.
• Drive workforce productivity, resource utilisation, operational KPIs and financial performance.
• Identify and address gaps in clinical care, care planning, quality and compliance.
• Utilise Power BI dashboards, reporting and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency, consistency and client outcomes.
• Support service growth across Support at Home, HCP, CHSP and QCSS funding streams.
• Oversee workforce planning, performance management, budgets and operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and legislative requirements.
• Partner with the Executive GM to deliver strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

About You

We're looking for an experienced, proactive leader who understands the complexities of community aged care and enjoys balancing quality service delivery with operational and commercial performance.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Demonstrated management experience within Home Care, Community Aged Care or a related community services environment.
• Strong people leadership skills, ideally managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Sound knowledge of community aged care funding, legislation, quality standards and clinical governance.
• Experience managing operational KPIs, budgets, workforce utilisation and service performance.
• Confidence interpreting data and using reporting tools such as Power BI to improve productivity.
• Experience with care management systems such as Alea Care or similar platforms.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and continuous improvement skills.
• Current driver's licence and flexibility to travel between service locations.

Highly Regarded:

• Clinical background, particularly nursing, allied health or clinical care management.
• Experience improving clinical care standards, care planning and quality outcomes.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Ageing Support, or relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Experience leading operational transformation or service growth within community aged care.
