Job summary

Ora Banda Mining is seeking a seasoned supply chain leader to own the end-to-end function for the Davyhurst Processing Plant and Mining Operations. You will drive procurement, inventory control, and logistics across sites, coordinating closely with end users and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 10+ years in mining or construction, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and advanced Pronto and Excel skills to optimize stock levels and supplier performance.

• Advanced skills in Pronto and strong procurement knowledge

Responsibilities

• Own the Supply Chain Function for the Davyhurst Processing Plant and Mining Operations
• Back-to-back on an 8:6 roster
• Work with Senior Commercial Specialist to implement supply agreements
• Develop and manage Supply Annual Business Plan, Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support operations
• Coordinate with departments to understand supply needs and shutdowns
• Oversee and manage critical inventory at all locations (insurance, capital, spares, reagents, fuel, mill liners)
• Monitor supplier performance and address quality issues
• Oversee annual stock taking, inventory levels, and replenishment
• Manage transportation of materials from suppliers to mining sites

The role

• Own the Supply Chain Function for the Davyhurst Processing Plant and Mining Operations
• Back-to-back on an 8:6 roster
• Work proactively with the Senior Commercial Specialist to implement supply agreements and to develop positive working relationships with the end user of the goods and services supplied
• Implement and manage the Supply Annual Business Plan, Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support Processing Plant and Mining operations
• Coordinate with various departments to understand their supply needs and requirements - including shutdowns
• Oversee and manage critical inventory at all locations. Including but not limited to Insurance, Capital and Critical Equipment spares, Reagents, Fuel and Mill Liners.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure quality and reliability.
• Oversee yearly stock taking plan, inventory levels, inventory reorder process and replenishment and optimize stock levels to minimize excess or shortages
• Manage the transporter and transportation and of materials from suppliers to mining sites

About you

• 10 years+ relevant experience, ideally within the Mining or Construction Industry
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field
• Advanced skills in Pronto
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics, and inventory management
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
• Strong computer literacy in particular Microsoft Excel and Project
