Job summary

George Weston Foods is seeking a Site Supply & Integration Planner for our Castlemaine manufacturing site. You will coordinate production, external manufacturing, material movements and short-term workforce requirements, creating and maintaining practical plans aligned with demand and supplier schedules.

Working with Operations, Technical, Finance and the wider Supply Chain Planning team, you will identify risks, translate complex information into clear actions and help strengthen reliable

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of production and manufacturing processes in large-scale environments.
• Experience coordinating logistics and third-party manufacturing, including scheduling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to maintain and improve planning tools and reports.
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP APO, or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to manage WIP, material availability and constraint impacts on planning.
• Collaborative, proactive problem solver able to work across cross-functional teams.
• Based in Castlemaine or able to work from the Castlemaine site.

Responsibilities

• Develop short and long-term production plans balancing demand, material, and capacity.
• Coordinate third-party manufacturing schedules, WIP, material movements, and supplier communication.
• Support short-term workforce planning by communicating labour requirements and allocations.
• Prepare planning reports and data extracts for supply planning and IBP.
• Maintain production and supply planning data in SAP ECC and SAP APO.
• Monitor service, inventory, and production risks and escalate issues.
• Maintain and improve Excel-based planning tools for visibility and consistency.
• Participate in daily planning routines and weekly allocation meetings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safe, environmentally responsible practices.
