Job summary

Essense of Australia, a global bridal fashion leader, seeks an experienced Supply Planner to optimise stock levels and coordinate planning across our international network. Based at our Osborne Park office, you will forecast demand, manage inventory, and work with factories to ensure timely stock availability for core lines and campaigns.

The role requires strong analytics, ERP experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar supply planning, inventory planning or related role.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including manufacturing.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and navigate complex processes.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Experience with Qlik Sense or Power BI would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generate factory purchase orders for customer orders and stock, considering sales history, stocking strategy, product mix and current demand.
• Manage inventory levels across the portfolio to meet forecast demand while mitigating the risk of excess and obsolete stock.
• Develop local warehouse inventory transfer strategies for critical and top-selling products.
• Identify, analyse and proactively address supply and inventory risks, developing practical recommendations and communicating implications clearly to support decision-making.
• Assess the impact of new season launches, amended sales strategies and changing demand on inventory requirements.
• Forecast and monitor factory capacity, working with relevant teams to identify and mitigate capacity risks.
• Forecast and monitor material requirements in line with demand forecasts, production requirements and factory capacity.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to balance supply and demand across finished products, samples, materials, accessories and fabrics.
• Continuously review supply plans to optimise inventory levels while balancing delivery cost, speed and stock availability.
• Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting to support supply planning decisions.
• Resolve supply-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and ways of working as part of day-to-day supply planning activities.
• Contribute to broader continuous improvement initiatives and projects across the Planning team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team and support the effective planning and availability of stock across our global business.

In this role, you will manage seasonal stock and inventory levels, analyse sales history and stocking strategies, and generate purchase orders to our factories based on customer demand and stock requirements. You will also monitor supply and factory capacity, assess inventory risks and develop practical recommendations to support effective decision-making.

Working closely with the Supply Chain team and stakeholders across the business, you will help ensure stock is available to meet business needs while balancing inventory, cost, timing and capacity considerations.

This role suits someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment and navigating complex, interrelated processes. You will be expected to take ownership of your work, stay organised, work through ambiguity and adapt as priorities shift.

Strong analytical and planning skills are important, but the real value comes from being able to identify supply risks, work through the implications, recommend practical actions and communicate clearly to keep decisions moving.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Osborne Park office.
