“At NHP we recognise that our people determine the success of our business”

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Supply Planning Lead, you will execute supply plans that maintain product availability while balancing inventory investment, supply chain cost and risk. Working across Demand Planning, Product, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Finance, IT and Customer Service, you will monitor supply performance, identify constraints and drive practical corrective actions. This is a hands‑on role for someone who combines strong planning discipline with commercial judgement, clear communication and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate, release and maintain purchase orders in line with the approved supply plan, ensuring planning inputs and master data are accurate.
  • Proactively manage the open purchase order portfolio, following up overdue, at-risk and forward-dated orders with supply partners.
  • Manage shortages, expedites, excess inventory and out-of-stock risks arising from demand volatility, forecast changes or supply disruption.
  • Provide clear, forward-looking reporting on product availability, supply constraints, risks and mitigation actions.
  • Investigate root causes of planning and execution issues and recommend improvements to systems, processes and ways of working.
  • Evaluate airfreight and other expedite options, preparing cost and risk trade-offs to support sound decisions.
  • Collaborate with supply line partners and stakeholders across the business to improve service, resilience and inventory outcomes.
  • Use Microsoft D365 and digital reporting tools effectively to support planning cadence, analysis and decision-making.
What You Will Bring To The Role
  • A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in supply planning, materials planning or procurement within manufacturing, distribution, FMCG or another complex supply chain environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with MRP/DRP and S&OP/IBP processes, including translating demand plans into executable supply plans.
  • Experience using ERP or advanced planning systems such as Microsoft D365, SAP or Oracle, including purchase order management, master data and planning parameters.
  • Strong analytical capability, with practical Excel skills and ideally Power BI experience for reporting and decision support.
  • Demonstrated supplier collaboration experience, including managing delivery performance, shortages and expedites.
  • A track record of improving service levels, plan adherence, inventory outcomes or expedite costs.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with ownership, resilience and sound problem-solving, and the confidence to influence decisions using data and commercial judgement
What’s On Offer
  • Join a collaborative Supply Chain team where your decisions directly influence customer outcomes and business performance.
  • Work in a role with broad exposure across planning, products, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and commercial teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, digital capability and a more resilient and responsive supply chain.
  • Access ongoing learning and development, employee assistance support and novated leasing options.
  • Enjoy a culture that supports work-life fulfilment, along with paid parental leave and benefits that support you and your family.
  • Be part of a business transforming how it works, where confidence with technology, curiosity and openness to change are valued.
  • Be part of a proudly Australian‑owned business with strong community partnerships and a genuine focus on its people.

The remuneration package will be based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
