Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking a Supply Chain Systems Specialist/Analyst to join our Supply Chain Performance & Innovation team in Sydney. You will align supply chain processes with technology solutions, improving efficiency, system performance and how our teams work.

This role will own and support tools like SVG and B2Wise, assist with MRP and visibility improvements, map processes, maintain data flows and training materials, and collaborate with Supply Chain, BTS, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Foundational Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, formulas).
• Interest in Power BI and BI reporting.

Komatsu Australia is looking for a Supply Chain Systems Specialist/ Analyst to join our Supply Chain Performance & Innovation team in Sydney.

This role will support the alignment of our supply chain processes with technology solutions, helping improve efficiency, system performance and the way our teams work. You'll work across Supply Chain, BTS and technology partners while gaining exposure to systems, analytics, process improvement and change initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the alignment of supply chain systems with operational requirements.
• Act as service owner for SVG, B2Wise and supply chain automation tools.
• Assist with MRP and Supply Chain Visibility improvements, including change reviews and testing.
• Analyse user and process gaps and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Support the implementation and adoption of new systems and processes.
• Maintain process maps, data flows, system documentation and training materials.
• Assist with business cases and scoping system enhancements.
• Work closely with Supply Chain teams, BTS, application vendors and other stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

This opportunity would suit someone who is analytical, curious and keen to develop their systems and business intelligence capability.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Foundational Excel and data analysis skills, including pivot tables, formulas and basic modelling.
• An interest in developing your Power BI and BI reporting capability.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders.
• An interest in supply chain systems, processes and continuous improvement.
• Internship or previous experience in analytics, ideally within supply chain or logistics.
• An understanding of KPI frameworks within supply chain or industrial environments.
• A Diploma/Degree, or be nearing completion, in Data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
