Job summary

Progress Rail is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to manage demand, inventory optimisation and purchasing for approximately 26,000 items. The role supports Progress Rail Vision Zero, safety, and environmental initiatives while leading demand signals, stock strategies and systems governance.

You will drive material master accuracy, safety stock settings, and D365 document handling. Strong planning, purchasing experience and knowledge of quality processes are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years OEM/rail, aviation, logistics, mining, or supply chain experience.
• 3 years planning or operational experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Significant planning, buying or purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of quality processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive demand signals, forecast accuracy and lead-time planning.
• Optimise inventory levels and safety stock settings.
• Oversee end-to-end purchasing and supplier expediting.
• Manage centralised and local purchase orders and PO changes.
• Run vendor back-order reports monthly.
• Ensure accurate data in material masters and D365 uploads.
